In Pet Talk: In the News

Our most recent “Saturday Spotlight” Show aired April 13, 2019 on News/Talk 1130 WISN-AM. We were joined by Lake Mills Police Chief Mick Selck, who discussed the efforts underway to start a new K-9 unit in Lake Mills and Dr. Beltz shared that the WVRC K-9 Heroes Foundation will be donating limited edition, collectible plush K-9 heroes, which will contribute $5,000 toward the cost of starting the unit.

Also on the show, Dr. Kayla Allesandrino and Dr. Alexus Urbanik discussed WVRC’s Blood Donor program, the importance of canine and feline blood donation, and how your pet can be a blood donor hero. If you are interested in finding out if your pet could become a blood donor, you can find more information here.
