Education:
Dr. Brown earned her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Florida in 2014. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for veterinary school and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.
Experience:
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Brown worked as a receptionist and veterinary assistant at a small animal general practice in central Florida. She was introduced to emergency medicine during veterinary school, where she worked as a veterinary assistant at Veterinary Emergency Service in Madison, WI. Ever since, her primary interest has been emergency medicine.

On what she enjoys most about working for WVRC…“I have always been drawn to animals, and I have wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I enjoy working in a challenging and fast-paced environment, and I find emergency medicine to be incredibly rewarding because I am able to be there for animals and their families during their most critical time of need.”
