Dr. Mazulis received her bachelor’s degree in animal sciences in 2011 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2015, both from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
Dr. Mazulis completed a rotating small animal internship at VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital in June of 2016 and completed a comparative dermatology internship and residency at Cornell University in July of 2019. During her residency, she conducted research on normal alpaca ear cytology and resident flora, as well as histopathology of equine skin.
Prior to attending veterinary school, one of my own dogs was suffering from severe allergies. Working through the diagnosis and treatment options for her allergic disease was very challenging yet rewarding. Since that time, my passion for veterinary dermatology has continued to grow. I love how appropriate management of chronic skin and ear issues can truly improve the quality of life of my patients and their owners.
