Dr. Mallo completed her BS in Animal Sciences in 2012 and her DVM degree in 2016 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
During veterinary school, Dr. Mallo worked as a veterinary assistant, but has loved animals since childhood and spent time in 4-H Dog Obedience and riding horses. Before coming to WVRC, she worked as a clinician at an urgent-care clinic in Wauwatosa, WI where she developed her interest in emergency medicine.
On what she enjoys most about working at WVRC…”My parents love to tell the story about how excited I was when we got our first puppy when I was a little girl. My love towards helping animals and their owners, particularly in critical or emergency situations, has only grown since.”
