Dr. Alessandrino earned her bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science at the University of Arizona in 2011. She attended the University of Glasgow for veterinary school and graduated with her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (Honours) in 2016. She joined WVRC in the summer of 2016 for her Internship, and stayed on as an attending Emergency DVM.
Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Alessandrino worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal urgent care practice in southern Arizona. Ever since, her primary interest has been emergency medicine.
On what she enjoys most about working at WVRC…”I’ve wanted to be a veterinarian for as long as I can remember. I enjoy the fast paced environment of the emergency setting as well as being able to help both pets and clients when they need it most.”
