MacKenzie Whyte, DVMEmergency Service

    Dr. Whyte graduated with a double major in Biology and Pre-veterinary medicine with an emphasis in zoology from Boise State University, She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and completed her clinical year of veterinary school at UW-Madison.


    Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Whyte, worked as a veterinary technician at Crabapple Knoll Veterinary clinic in Alpharetta, Georgia.

    On becoming a veterinarian…

    “I chose veterinary medicine because it is a challenging field where you have to continue to learn and push yourself in order to provide the strongest care for your patients.  You have to be able to adapt and grow as a person and a professional daily.  I believe that animals have the ability to enrich our lives more than anything else and they deserve the best kind of care.”

    Professional Interests:

    Dr. Whyte is pursuing a career as a board certified small animal surgeon.
