Bear, a 7-1/2-year-old Staffordshire Terrier, recently moved from California to Wisconsin after being diagnosed with Lymphoma and starting chemotherapy treatments. One of WVRC’s board-certified oncologists, Dr. Wirth, was able to connect with Bear’s previous veterinarian to get a full update on his health and continue to provide him with his personalized chemotherapy protocol.
As part of his visits, Dr. Wirth also shared with his owners the importance of flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives now that they have moved to the Midwest.
Bear did great completing his protocol and has now Kicked Cancer’s Tail! Congrats Bear!! And welcome to Wisconsin.
