Hit By A Car
Shadow presented to WVRC Racine after being hit by a car. His owner reported that Shadow was hit headfirst and thrown back. Shadow did get up but was unable to walk normally after the accident. Shadow remained at WVRC Racine for two days while our team worked to stabilize him to the point that he could go home. As a result of his injuries, Dr. Evans determined that repair of Shadow’s leg would not be possible, and he came in at a later date to have his injured leg amputated.
Shadow’s owner happily reports that he is doing very well at home since his surgery, and the family even celebrated National “Tripawd” Day!
