Sheena is a 7-year-old Golden Retriever who presented with a substantial sized ball lodged in her throat and was choking. She was rapidly becoming not able to breath. The Emergency Team acted quickly and induced anesthesia IV and Dr. Vuolo was able to manually extract the ball. Sheena recovered, spent the night in the hospital and did not have signs of any complications. She was discharged to her owners the next morning and was a very happy Golden!
