In 2018, WVRC had an opportunity to make a huge impact in the community by helping the Milwuakee County House of Correction K-9 Unit purchase and train two new German Shepherd K-9s – Nitro and Xena. (Read Story Here)

Spring 2019, WVRC’s K-9 Heroes Foundation helped raise $5,000 for the Lake Mills Police Department, who is starting their own K-9 unit. They are raising funds to purchase and train their own K-9, Truman, who is named after their late Fire Captain Christopher Truman who was killed while rendering aid to a stranded motorist on New Year’s Eve.

Summer 2019, we will be holding the 2nd Annual K-9 Heroes Appreciation Night @ The Corners to help raise funds for the Waukesha County Sheriff’s K-9 unit who will be purchasing and training a new K-9 to replace one who is retiring from duty.

Please help support the K-9 Heroes Foundation and local K-9 units by purchasing a limited edition, collectible K-9 NITRO for $20.
